These terms & conditions govern the use of the garantieprolongeeauto.ca website (the "Site") and the purchase of an extended vehicle warranty offered by Garantie Prolongée Auto ("GPA", "we"). By using the Site or purchasing a warranty, you accept these terms.
Eligible vehicles are model-year 2020 or newer, of all categories (car, SUV, hybrid, electric, motorcycle, motorized recreational vehicles). Mileage is unlimited. A vehicle whose manufacturer base warranty has expired must be inspected by the consumer, with the report provided at the time of purchase.
Displayed prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD), before taxes. The quote produced by the selector is indicative; the final price is confirmed at checkout after verification of the serial number (VIN). Pricing groups (A: regular, B: premium, C: electric) and terms (2, 3, 4 or 5 years) are fixed at the time of purchase.
Payment is processed securely by Stripe. No card data is stored by us. The warranty contract is sent after payment confirmation.
The warranty covers mechanical and electronic components and, for electric vehicles, the high-voltage battery, inverter and charger, excluding normal wear. A $0 deductible applies and 24/7 roadside assistance is included across Canada and the United States.
The warranty is transferable to a new owner under the conditions set out in the contract.
The Site and its content are provided "as is". GPA cannot be held liable for errors or omissions on the Site, or for indirect damages related to its use. GPA's liability for coverage is defined in the warranty contract.
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Quebec and Canada. Any dispute is brought before the competent courts of Quebec City, subject to the remedies provided under the Consumer Protection Act.
