Modules, cells, management system (BMS) and pack housing. An HV pack replacement can exceed $18,000.
Inverter / converter
Traction inverter and DC-DC converter linking the high-voltage battery to the motor and the 12 V network.
Onboard charger
Integrated AC charger, charge interface and DC fast-charge control unit.
Electric motor
Traction motor, rotor, stator and position sensors. The most stressed part after the battery.
Software & OTA updates
Reprogramming required by the replacement of a covered component, including proprietary modules.
Thermal management
Battery cooling circuit, pump, thermostatic valve and heat exchanger dedicated to the pack.

Is normal battery degradation covered?▾
The extended warranty covers the failure of an eligible component. Capacity loss tied to normal wear remains governed by the manufacturer pack warranty.
Is a battery replacement worth the warranty?▾
A high-voltage battery pack often costs between $12,000 and $20,000. By comparison, a 2 to 5-year specialized warranty is a fraction of that amount.
Can I charge on fast chargers?▾
Yes. Coverage has no link to your charger usage. Onboard charging components are covered in case of failure.
Is my used EV eligible?▾
Vehicles 2018 and newer are eligible, subject to VIN verification and pack condition at sign-up.
